Coffee is a beverage, served hot or with ice, prepared from the roasted seeds of the coffee plant. These seeds are almost always called coffee beans. Coffee is the second most commonly traded commodity in the world (measured by monetary volume), trailing only petroleum, and the most consumed beverage. In total, 6.7 million tonnes of coffee were produced annually in 1998-2000, forecast to rise to 7 million tonnes annually by 2010. Coffee is one of humanity's chief sources of caffeine, a stimulant. Its potential benefits and hazards have been, and continue to be, widely studied and discussed. - Wikipedia

I used to hate coffee, I loathed the taste of it and couldn't understand why ANYONE would voluntarily drink it. I think the change happened when I was 12 or 13, it was my best friend who taught me to drink coffee. She always used to make some for herself and I thought I could give it a shot, just because I sort of wanted to see what's all the fuss about. I never thought I'd actually learn to like coffee, let alone that it'd become a lifesaver for me. Nowadays I try to not drink more than 2 or 3 cups per day but if I wasn't concerned about the health issues I'd probably drink more like 2 or 3 pans. :D Coffee is just great! It keeps me going throughout the work-filled days and the coffee breaks in general are just precious moments.
